Deputies arrest multi-county fugitive after Holts Summit traffic stop

WANTED FUGITIVE IN THREE COUNTIES ARRESTED BY CALLAWAY DEPUTIES DURING HOLTS SUMMIT AREA PATROL

Arrested person information:

Rodney Pritchard, 51, of Holts Summit

Narrative:

On August 3, 2018 at 9:12 a.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were conducting proactive patrol in the Holts Summit area.  During the patrol, deputies conducted an investigative traffic stop near the intersection of Center Street and US Highway 54 in Holts Summit.

During the course of the stop, deputies came into contact with Rodney Pritchard, 51, of Holts Summit.  Pritchard attempted to deceive deputies by providing a false identity and fraudulent information.  Deputies eventually were able to positively identify Pritchard and took him into custody.  Pritchard had fugitive warrants for his arrest in Morgan, Camden, and Cole counties.  The Morgan County felony warrant ordered Pritchard held without bond.

Pritchard was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to the Cole County Jail for his local charges in Cole County.
