Deputies arrest Moberly man after vehicle pursuit outside of Hatton

RURAL COUNTY PATROL NEAR HATTON LEADS TO VEHICLE PURSUIT AND ARREST OF MOBERLY MAN

Arrested person information:

Jon Wagner, 49, of Moberly

Narrative:

On June 13, 2019, at approximately 10:32 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the Hatton area.  During the patrol, the deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on State Road M near State Road E for a traffic violation.  The vehicle driver, later identified as Jon Wagner, 49, of Moberly, MO, fled and a vehicle pursuit ensued.  Deputies subsequently captured and arrested Wagner near Kimberley Drive northwest of Kingdom City.

Wagner was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody for probable cause traffic offenses and resisting arrest.  Wagner is being held on $2,000 bond.
