Deputies arrest Kingdom City man for methamphetamine after Hatton patrol

OVERNIGHT DEPUTY PATROL OF HATTON AREA LEADS TO ANOTHER METH ARREST

Arrested person information:

Karl Ward, 53, of Kingdom City

Narrative:

On November 23, 2018 at 2:15 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were proactively patrolling the Hatton area.  During the patrol, deputies conducted a suspicious vehicle investigation on State Road M south of State Road E.

Deputies subsequently came into contact with Karl Ward, 53, of Kingdom City.  Ward was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Ward was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Ward was booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Ward later posted a *court set* bond of $5,000 and was released pending Court appearance.
