Deputies arrest Kingdom City man for methamphetamine possession after traffic stop in rural northwest Callaway County

RURAL COUNTY DEPUTY PATROL NETS ANOTHER METH ARREST

Arrested person information:

Kevin Ward, 54, of Kingdom City

Narrative:

On June 17, 2019, at approximately 12:49 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 276 and State Road DD in rural northwest Callaway County.  During the proactive patrol, the deputy observed a traffic violation and subsequently conducted a traffic stop.  The vehicle driver, Kevin Ward, 54, of Kingdom City, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Ward was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Ward was booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth).  Ward is being held on $4,500 bond.
