Deputies arrest Kansas City fugitive after traffic stop outside of Hatton

DEPUTIES ARREST KANSAS CITY AREA FUGITIVE DURING COUNTY ROAD PATROLS NEAR HATTON

Arrested person information:

Laurin Pruessner, 28, of Kansas City

Narrative:

On March 8, 2019, at approximately 11:33 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the 3000 block of County Road 274 near Hatton.  During the patrol, the deputy conducted an investigative traffic stop regarding an ongoing criminal investigation.

During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy identified a vehicle occupant as Laurin Pruessner, 28, of Kansas City, MO.  The deputy determined that Pruessner was a wanted fugitive in Clay County, MO and Platte County, MO (metro Kansas City area) for Methamphetamine and Stealing offenses.  Arrest warrants had been issued in both counties.

Pruessner was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Pruesnner is being held on a *court set* bond of $10,500.00 (of which, $10,000.00 is cash only).
