Deputies arrest Jefferson City man for unlawful firearm possession after criminal investigation in Fulton

DEPUTIES ARREST JEFFERSON CITY MAN FOR FIREARMS VIOLATIONS DURING INVESTIGATION IN FULTON

Arrested person information:

Nicholas Porter, 27, of Jefferson City

Narrative:

On October 30, 2018 at approximately 1:33 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were conducting a criminal investigation in the 500 block of Churchill Drive in Fulton.  During the course of the investigation, deputies came into contact with Nicholas Porter, 27, of Jefferson City.  Porter, whom is a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of a firearm.

Porter was arrested for Unlawful (Felon in) Possession of a Firearm and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Porter was booked/processed and later posted a *court set* bond of $4,500.00.

NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
