Deputies arrest Holts Summit man for methamphetamine possession during investigation outside of Calwood

CALLAWAY COUNTY DEPUTIES CONTINUE TO MAKE METH ARRESTS ACROSS THE COUNTY – LATEST ARREST MADE NEAR CALWOOD

Arrested person information:

James Niederhelm, 41, of Holts Summit

Narrative:

On January 29, 2019, at approximately 8:00 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a suspicious person report in the 4000 block of State Road JJ near Calwood.

During the course of the investigation, deputies came into contact with James Niederhelm, 41, of Holts Summit.  Deputies determined that Niederhelm had three warrants for his arrest spanning Callaway and Cole counties for traffic violations.

Deputies subsequently took Niederhelm into custody and found him to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Niederhelm was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, in addition to the aforementioned traffic warrants.  Niederhelm is being held on a *court set* bond of $8,300.00.
