Deputies arrest Holts Summit man for charges of rape, drug delivery and weapon charges after joint investigation

CCSO AND HSPD JOINT INVESTIGATION LEADS TO RAPE, DRUG DELIVERY, AND WEAPONS CHARGES

Arrested person information:

Jerry Nichols, 60, of Holts Summit

Narrative: 

On June 25, 2020, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Jerry Nichols, 60, of Holts Summit with the felony offenses of Rape/Attempted Rape, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (felon in possession), and Sodomy/Attempted Sodomy.

Nichols was arrested by Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies on June 24, 2020 at 5:10 PM.  The arrest was the result of a joint investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and the Holts Summit Police Department at a residence in Holts Summit.

Nichols is being held in the Callaway County Jail without bond pending later Court bond review, per judge’s order.

The investigation is ongoing and further arrests/charges are possible.
