Deputies arrest Holts Summit fugitive for felony narcotics warrant after traffic stop outside of Holts Summit

RURAL AREA DEPUTY PATROL NETS FUGITIVE WANTED FOR FELONY DRUG CHARGE

Arrested person information:

James Niederhelm, 42, of Holts Summit

 

Narrative:

On June 11, 2019, at approximately 1:40 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were patrolling State Road OO west of Holts Summit.  During the patrol, the deputies spotted James Niederhelm, 42, of Holts Summit operating a vehicle in the 1500 block of State Road OO.  Deputies knew Niederhelm was a wanted fugitive.  On May 31, 2019, a felony warrant had been issued for Niederhelm’s arrest for failing to appear in Court – original charge; Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Deputies subsequently contacted Niederhelm and took him into custody.  Niederhelm was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he later posted a $9,000 bond.
