Deputies arrest Holts Summit fugitive during Holts Summit patrol, discover methamphetamine

PROACTIVE COUNTY ROAD PATROL NEAR HOLTS SUMMIT LEADS TO FUGITIVE / METH ARREST

Arrested person information:

Shawn Figard, 44, of Holts Summit

Narrative:

On October 2, 2018 at 10:48 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 4031 and County Road 4034 outside of Holts Summit.  During the patrol, the deputy came into contact with Shawn Figard, 44, of the Holts Summit area.

The deputy determined that Figard was a wanted fugitive in Audrain County for the criminal offenses of Stealing and Trespassing.  Figard was taken into custody.  The deputy subsequently found that Figard was in possession of methamphetamine.

Figard was transported to the Callaway County Jail and booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and the referenced Audrain County charges.  Figard is being held on respective *court set* bonds of $4,500.00 (Callaway) and $3,000.00 cash only (Audrain).
