Deputies arrest Holts Summit fugitive after he crashes into house following two vehicle pursuits

Brandon Labore, 29, of Holts Summit, MO


On May 27, 2018 at approximately 2:31 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were in the 1400 block of Summit View Drive conducting an unrelated felony investigation. Deputies developed information that Brandon Labore, a wanted fugitive from Callaway and Cole Counties, was possibly inside a residence in the 1400 block of Summit View Drive.

As deputies walked to the residence Labore fled out a side door and jumped into a black Toyota passenger car and fled from deputies.  Deputies pursued Labore on Summit View Drive and eventually terminated the pursuit on Summit Drive.  Deputies notified surrounding agencies regarding Labore and the vehicle he was driving.

At approximately 4:07 p.m. deputies were notified that the Jefferson City Police Department was in pursuit of the black Toyota and had crossed the Missouri River Bridge on eastbound Highway 54 and that the Jefferson City Police Department had terminated the pursuit.  Deputies located the black Toyota passenger car on Summit Drive and pursued the vehicle onto Summit View Drive where Labore crashed into a residence owned by his family member and deputies were able to take Labore into custody.  At the time of Labore’s arrest he had Callaway County warrant for two counts of Domestic Assault 2nd with NO BOND and a Cole County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance with a court set bond of $9000.00.  Labore was also arrested for Resisting Arrest for a Felony, speeding and other charges stemming from the pursuit.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming.  NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
