Deputies arrest Fulton man for methamphetamine possession after patrol outside of Kingdom City

DEPUTIES MAKE METH ARREST DURING PATROL OF COUNTY ROAD 220

Arrested person information:

Joseph Byrd, 30, of Fulton

Narrative:

On August 7, 2018, at 5:14 p.m., a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling County Road 220 near Kingdom City.  During the patrol, the deputy spotted Joseph Byrd, 30, of Fulton in the area.  Byrd was wanted by the Fulton Police Department for a felony stealing investigation.

The deputy subsequently contacted Byrd and took him into custody.  Subsequent to the arrest, Byrd was found to be in possession of controlled substances, including methamphetamine.

Byrd was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth).  Byrd later posted a COURT SET bond of $4,500.00 .
