Deputies arrest Fulton fugitive outside of Holts Summit after K9 alerts on a vehicle during a traffic stop, marijuana and a large amount of methamphetamine and heroin recovered

SHERIFF’S OFFICE PATROL OF STATE ROAD AA NEAR HOLTS SUMMIT YIELDS FUGITIVE — K9 TEAM LOCATES LARGE AMOUNT OF METH AND HEROIN

Arrested person information:

Anthony Holland, 46, of Fulton

Narrative: 

On June 5, 2018 at 10:04 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies, including the Sheriff’s K9 team, were patrolling State Road AA near Holts Summit.  During the patrol, deputies spotted a vehicle known to be associated with Anthony Holland, 46, of Fulton.  Holland was a fugitive from justice; wanted on two Callaway County felony probation violation warrants for past drug offenses.

Deputies subsequently stopped the vehicle, located Holland, and took him into custody.  K9 Iro alerted on the vehicle and a search was conducted.  Subsequently, 44 grams of methamphetamine, 4 grams of heroin, marijuana, and items associated with drug sales were located.

Holland was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked/processed for the felony probation violation warrants, in addition to probable cause offenses of Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Holland is being held without bond pending a judge bond setting.
