Deputies arrest Fulton fugitive after he fails to follow Judges’ order

DEPUTIES LOCATE AND ARREST WANTED FELON ON COUNTY ROAD 202

Arrested person information:

Reece Strawn, 34, of Fulton

Narrative:

On October 1, 2018 at approximately 8:12 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were proactively patrolling County Road 202 near State Road HH.  During the patrol, deputies conducted an investigative traffic stop in the 4800 block of County Road 202 reference a wanted fugitive investigation.  During the course of the stop, deputies located Reece Strawn, 34, of Fulton.

Deputies determined that Strawn was a wanted fugitive regarding a Callaway County felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fail to Obey a Court Order).  Strawn had previously been arrested by deputies for the charge and incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail.  On September 26, 2018, the Court ordered that Strawn be released from jail and ordered that he surrender himself to another facility.  Strawn failed to comply with the Court order and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued.

Strawn is currently being held in the Callaway County Jail on a *court-set* bond of $5,000.00 cash only.
