Deputies arrest Fulton female for methamphetamine possession after deputies investigate stealing outside of Fulton

CALLAWAY COUNTY DEPUTIES CONTINUE TO MAKE METH ARRESTS ACROSS THE COUNTY – FULTON WOMAN ARRESTED SUNDAY DURING THEFT INVESTIGATION

Arrested person information:

Brittany Sumner, 29, of Fulton

Narrative:

On February 3, 2019, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Brittany Sumner, 29, of Fulton with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth (two counts), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Stealing.  Sumner remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail on a *court set* bond of $10,000.00.

The aforementioned charges are the result of a stealing / drug investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office in the 3000 block of Backer Drive, just outside of Fulton, on February 3, 2019.  During the investigation, Sumner was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property.

Sumner was arrested by deputies at the scene and transported to the Callaway County Jail.

The Fulton Police Department assisted with the investigation.
