Deputies arrest wanted fugitive after finding him hiding under a couch

Arrested person information: 

Andrew Teel, 29, of Fulton

Narrative: 

On January 26, 2018, the Callaway County Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant for Andrew Teel, 29, of Fulton.  The warrant pertained to probation violations on the original charges of FELONY Possession of a Controlled Substance and Forgery.  The issuing judge ordered Teel be held without bond upon capture.

Deputies followed leads to locate Teel after the warrant issuance.  On this date, January 28, 2018 at 5:50 AM, deputies searched a residence in the 5000 block of County Road 204 west of Fulton.  During the search, deputies located Teel hiding under a couch in the residence and subsequently arrested him.

Teel was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains pending court appearance.
