Deputies arrest five for methamphetamine, stealing and fugitive related offenses during evening hours

DEPUTIES ARREST FIVE SUBJECTS FOR METH, STEALING, AND FUGITIVE RELATED OFFENSES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY

Arrested person information:

Michael Haning, 24, of Auxvasse, MO

Abigail Heiland, 22, of Branson, MO

Louis Richmond Jr., 38, of Jefferson City, MO

Samuel Barrick, 42, of New Bloomfield, MO

Dustin Hook, 32, of Fulton, MO

Narrative:

On June 6, 2019, at approximately 4:11 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the Auxvasse area.  During the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  The deputy identified Michael Haning, 24, of Auxvasse as a vehicle occupant.  Haning was found to be in possession of meth related drug paraphernalia.  Haning was arrested for Unlawful Possession/Use of Drug Paraphernalia and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Haning was later released on a Court summons.

On June 6, 2019, at approximately 6:35 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was traveling through Fulton.  The deputy conducted a traffic stop near the 10th Street and Bluff Street intersection regarding a traffic violation.  During the course of the traffic stop investigation, occupants were identified as Abigail Heiland, 22, of Branson, MO and Louis Richmond Jr., 38, of Jefferson City.  Both Heiland and Richmond Jr. were wanted fugitives; Heiland in Cole County for Felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and Richmond Jr. in Boone County for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance – meth.  Heiland was found to be in possession of methamphetamine during the traffic stop investigation.  Both were arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  During the booking/processing of Heiland, she was found to possess marijuana concealed upon her person.  Heiland was subsequently booked/processed for felony probable cause offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession/Delivery of a Controlled Substance into a County Jail.  Richmond Jr. posted a $4,500.00 bond and was released.  Heiland remains in custody on $14,000 bond.

On June 6, 2019, at approximately 8:28 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the New Bloomfield area.  During the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  The deputy identified Samuel Barrick, 42, of New Bloomfield as a vehicle occupant.  Barrick was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.  Barrick was arrested for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Barrick later posted a $4,500 bond.

On June 6, 2019, at approximately 11:53 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a follow-up investigation in the 400 block of Bluff Street in Fulton.  The investigation was a follow-up to a stolen ATV investigation conducted by deputies on County Road 105 east of Fulton.  During the course of the investigation, deputies recovered a stolen ATV and arrested Dustin Hook, 32, of Fulton for Felony Receiving Stolen Property.  Hook was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where he posted a $4,500 bond.
