Deputies arrest Columbia woman for vehicle theft after investigation near Gutherie

CALLAWAY COUNTY DEPUTIES ARREST COLUMBIA WOMAN FOR VEHICLE THEFT OFFENSE NEAR GUTHRIE

Chelsey Evans, 32, of Columbia

Narrative:

On April 29, 2019, at approximately 9:24 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Chelsey Evans, 32, of Columbia, MO for Stealing a Motor Vehicle.  Evans was arrested in Fulton and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Evans later posted a $4,500.00 bond and was released pending Court appearance.

The arrest is the result of a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigation initiated in the 2000 block of County Road 338 near Guthrie on April 9, 2019 involving a stolen vehicle.

The Fulton Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol has assisted with the investigation.
