Deputies arrest Centertown man after locating stolen vehicle outside of Holts Summit

DEPUTIES RECOVER STOLEN VEHICLE AND DRUGS NEAR HOLTS SUMMIT DURING OVERNIGHT PATROL

Arrested person information:

Gary Hickman, 35, of Centertown

Narrative: 

On May 4, 2018, at approximately 4:28 a.m., the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Hunter Lane apartment complex just outside of Holts Summit for reported suspicious activity in-progress.

Upon the arrival of a county deputy, he located Gary Hickman, 35, of Centertown in a parked vehicle.  Upon further investigation, it was determined the vehicle had been reported stolen to the Jefferson City Police Department on March 24, 2018.  The vehicle had spray painted and damaged since being stolen in Jefferson City.  Upon a search of the stolen vehicle, drug paraphernalia related to meth use was located.

Hickman was arrested for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Hickman was transported to the Callaway County Jail for the aforementioned probable cause charges and placed on a COURT SET bond of $5,000.00.
