CALLAWAY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES MAKE METH ARREST IN AUXVASSE DURING WANTED PERSON INVESTIGATION

Dewayne Clayton, 53, of Auxvasse
On April 8, 2019, at approximately 1:46 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a wanted person investigation in the 100 block of First Street in Auxvasse.
During a residential search, deputies subsequently located Dewayne Clayton, 53, of Auxvasse. Deputies determined that Clayton was a wanted felon in Boone County for felony probation violation. Deputies further determined Clayton to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Clayton was arrested, transported to, and booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) in addition to the Boone County felony warrant. Clayton is being held on a $24,500.00 bond.
