Deputies arrest Auxvasse man for burglary after responding to a burglary in progress report

ARREST MADE IN AUXVASSE BURGLARY INVESTIGATION

Arrested person information:

Jordan Beers, 29, of Auxvasse

Narrative: 

On September 12, 2018 at approximately 4:00 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residential burglary in progress in the 800 block of Manor Drive in Auxvasse.  Deputies were provided information that the homeowner had arrived home to discover a burglar fleeing the residence with stolen residential items.

Upon the arrival of deputies and subsequent investigation, the suspect was identified as Jordan Beers, 29, of Auxvasse.  Deputies located Beers at another Auxvasse residence and took him into custody.  Stolen property was recovered.

Beers was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked/processed for Burglary 2nd (Felony).  Beers is being held without bond pending a Court bond setting.

Further charges are being requested due to Beers assaulting a jail corrections officer during the morning hours of September 13, 2018.
