Deputies arrest 5 for methamphetamine, warrants and weapon offenses between March 8 and March 14

PROACTIVE PATROLS AND INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE TO NET METH, WARRANT, AND WEAPON ARRESTS

William Burgess, 47, of Fulton, MO

Erin Nunes, 35, of Fulton, MO

Tyler Clevenger, 34, of Fulton, MO

Sandra Montcalm, 52, of Auxvasse, MO

Richard Smith Jr., 44, of Tiff, MO

Narrative:                 

On March 8, 2021, at 1:33 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a Callaway County drug search warrant at a residence in the Fulton area.  The search warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing Sheriff’s Office drug investigation.  Methamphetamine and other felony level controlled substances were located.  William Burgess, 47, of Fulton, MO was arrested.  The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Burgess with the felony offenses of Delivering of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Burgess later posted bond at the Callaway County Jail.

On March 11, 2021, at 6:19 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a Callaway County drug search warrant at a residence in the Fulton area.  The search warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing Sheriff’s Office drug investigation.  Methamphetamine and other drug related items were located.  Erin Nunes, 35, of Fulton, MO and Tyler Clevenger, 34, of Fulton, MO were arrested.  The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Nunes and Clevenger with the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Delivery of a Controlled Substance respectively.  Both later posted bond at the Callaway County Jail.  The Fulton Police Department assisted with the investigation.

On March 11, 2021, at 12:29 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 262.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Sandra Montcalm, 52, of Auxvasse, MO.  Montcalm was wanted reference a Callaway County warrant for Felony Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.  Montcalm was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where she remains in-custody pending bond post.

On March 14, 2021, at 3:14 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the Portland / Readsville area.  During the course of the proactive patrol, the deputy stopped Richard Smith Jr., 44, of Tiff, MO for a traffic violation on State Road D.  Methamphetamine was located.  It was also determined Smith was wanted by the Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) for a felony parole violation warrant.  Smith was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later transferred to the custody of MDOC.
