Deputies arrest 12 for various felony offenses between February 1 and February 5

Narrative:            

On February 1, 2021, at 12:22 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies executed a drug search warrant at a residence in the 6000 block of State Road Z.  The warrant had been acquired as part of an ongoing CCSO drug investigation.  A significant amount of methamphetamine was recovered.  Subsequently; Bradley Hensley, 38, of Columbia, MO was arrested for Trafficking Drugs, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (felon in possession), and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.  In addition, Hensley was also wanted reference felony Audrain County and MDOC warrants for an array of offenses including Burglary, Stealing a Motor Vehicle, and numerous weapons offenses.  Hensley was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody without bond, pending later Court bond review.

On February 2, 2021, at 1:06 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the 5000 block of Janice Drive.  During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested Tony Hogan, 37, of Kingdom City reference a Callaway County felony warrant for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Hogan was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released after posting bond.

On February 2, 2021, at 9:39 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Fulton area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested Travis Pitt, 30, of Fulton, MO reference felony Callaway County warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance (probation violation).  Pitt was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody pending bond post.

On February 2, 2021, at 9:08 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the 1500 block of Old Highway 40.  During the course of the patrol, Brent Garriott Jr., 26, of Fulton, MO was stopped for a traffic violation.  Subsequently, methamphetamine and other drugs were located.  Garriott and a vehicle occupant, Jeffery Strickland, 45, of Fulton, MO were arrested.  Garriott Jr. was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed for Trafficking Drugs, and remains in-custody without bond pending later Court bond review.  Strickland was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

On February 2, 2021, at 9:47 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the New Bloomfield area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Jerri Denton, 50, of New Bloomfield, MO.  Denton was wanted reference a Callaway County felony warrant for DWI – Persistent Offender.  Denton was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later released on bond conditions.

On February 3, 2021, at 6:12 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in New Bloomfield.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Gabriel Horstman, 41, of Fulton, MO.  Horstman was wanted reference a Callaway County felony warrant for Assault.  Horstsman was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later released after posting bond.

On February 5, 2021, at 2:14 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 271.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Chastidy Hoover, 32, of Auxvasse, MO.  Hoover was wanted reference felony Callaway County warrants for Stealing a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Hoover was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and remains in-custody without bond, pending later Court bond review.

On February 5, 2021, at 2:47 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in Auxvasse.  During the course of the investigation, methamphetamine and other felony based controlled substances were located.  Zackary Ray, 22, of Auxvasse, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, in addition to felony Callaway County warrants for past drug offenses.  April Biggs, 30, of Mexico, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Both were transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Ray remains in-custody without bond, pending further Court bond review.  Biggs was later released with summons for Court appearance.

On February 5, 2021, at 9:18 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped Evan Goodman, 33, of Clayton, MO for a traffic violation in the Kingdom City area.  A Callaway County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit responded to assist with the traffic stop investigation.  Subsequently, a felony based controlled substance was located.  Goodman was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

On February 5, 2021, at 10:47 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit was proactively patrolling the 2000 block of County Road 269.  During the patrol, the K9 unit attempted to stop Brandon Redden, 38, of Ashland, MO for speeding.  Redden fled from the deputy, ultimately fleeing from his vehicle on foot.  Deputies gave chase and Redden was ultimately captured.  Redden was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, other felony level controlled substances, marijuana, and a firearm.  Redden was also wanted reference felony MDOC state parole violation and Boone County warrants.  Redden was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked and processed for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance (two count), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (felon in possession), Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and the aforementioned warrants.  Redden remains in custody, without bond, and will be returned to the custody of MDOC.
