BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED DURING TRAFFIC STOP IN HOLTS SUMMIT

On October 5, 2017, at approximately 3:28 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a commercial burglary in the 2500 block of Jade Road, adjacent to Interstate 70, in western Callaway County. During the investigation, physical evidence along with a suspect vehicle description was obtained.
On October 7, 2017 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies learned the suspect vehicle was traveling westbound (south) on US Highway 54 from Fulton. With the assistance of the Holts Summit Police Department, the vehicle was stopped in Holts Summit and the driver, identified as Bryson Skinner, was taken into custody. During a search of the vehicle, stolen property from the commercial burglary was located, along with marijuana.
Skinner remains in the Callaway County Jail for FELONY Stealing, Trespassing, and Possession of Marijuana. Skinner is being held on a court-set bond of $4,500.00.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
