Both Moore and Buol were taken into federal custody on April 7, 2016 after a vehicle pursuit that was initiated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office near Columbia and traveled through Callaway County, ending near Williamsburg.  During the vehicle pursuit, the suspects fired numerous shots at law enforcement officers, including Callaway County deputies, and passing motorists.

Moore and Buol remain in federal custody.  The filing of Callaway County charges had been deferred until now given the ongoing federal prosecution.
