Auxvasse man charged with Felony Assault, Felony Resisting Arrest after struggling with Deputies in November

SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATION IN AUXVASSE LEADS TO FELONY ASSAULT CHARGE FILED BY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY

Arrested person information: 

Jerry Wilkerson, 71, of Auxvasse

Narrative: 

On January 3, 2018, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Jerry Wilkerson, 71, of Auxvasse with the offenses of Felony Assault 2nd, Felony Resisting Arrest, and Misdemeanor Assault 4th.  The charges are the result of a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigation conducted at a residence in Auxvasse on November 23, 2017.  On that date, Wilkerson was taken into custody after struggling with two deputies whom were arresting him.

At the time of the charge filing, Wilkerson was already incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail for a Probation Violation.  Wilkerson is being held on a total court-set bond of $260,000.00.
