Auxvasse man arrested for two counts of felony harassment of a child and assault

Ronald Heck, 25, of Auxvasse

Narrative: 

On October 4, 2017, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Ronald Heck, 25, of Auxvasse with Felony Harassment of a Child (two counts) and Assault (two counts).  The charges were the result of a child abuse investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and the State of Missouri Children’s Division.

Since the warrant issuance on October 4, 2017, Callaway County deputies, assisted by Fulton Police Department officers, had checked various locations in the Auxvasse and Fulton area for Heck.  On October 9, 2017 at approximately 12:08 A.M., Callaway County deputies and Fulton Police Department officers were patrolling the area of Vine Street in Fulton searching for Heck.  During that time, a Fulton Police officer located Heck and he was subsequently taken into custody without incident.

Heck was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked / processed and placed on a court set bond of $20,000.00.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming.  NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
