Auxvasse man arrested for multiple felonies, including child abuse, after deputies investigate domestic in Kingdom City

AUXVASSE MAN CHARGED WITH SEVERAL FELONY OFFENSES INCLUDING CHILD ABUSE AFTER SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATION IN KINGDOM CITY

Eric Huddleston, 31, of Auxvasse

Narrative: 

On May 29, 2018, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Eric Huddleston, 31, of Auxvasse with the felony offenses of Child Abuse, Domestic Assault 3rd (three counts), Tampering with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution, and misdemeanor Kidnapping 3rd.  Huddleston is being held in the Callaway County Jail without bond, per a judge’s order.

The charges are the result of a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigation conducted at a business in Kingdom City on May 28, 2018.  On that date at 8:57 a.m., deputies responded to the Kingdom City business for a reported domestic disturbance in progress.   On arrival, deputies determined two subjects had been assaulted, including a child.  Huddleston had fled the area prior to deputy arrival.

Later in the morning, Huddleston was located at a residence in Auxvasse and arrested.
