Auxvasse man arrested for Felony DWI, Felony assault on Law Enforcement, Felony Domestic Assault and other charges following domestic disturbance outside of Auxvasse

On April 13, 2018, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Keith Lancaster, 33, of Auxvasse with Domestic Assault 4th, Domestic Assault 3rd, Property Damage 2nd, Leave Scene of an Accident, DWI – Aggravated, Driving while Revoked / Suspended, Possession of Marijuana, Interference with Legal Process and Assault 4th Degree.

On April 12, 2018 at approximately 11:04 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported physical domestic disturbance / vehicle crash in the 5900 block of State Road E outside of Auxvasse.

During the investigation, deputies determined that Keith Lancaster used his vehicle to force another vehicle off the road.  Lancaster then stopped and fled his own vehicle on foot.  Upon arrival, deputies subsequently located Lancaster who was uncooperative.  Lancaster was placed into custody for FELONY DWI and later charged with several other domestic related offenses.  Deputies eventually obtained a search warrant for Lancaster’s blood and transported him to a local hospital.  At the hospital, Lancaster became increasingly uncooperative and resisted the efforts of nurses to obtain blood pursuant to the court order.  In the process, Lancaster assaulted several officers by kicking them.  Lancaster bit the finger of a Fulton Police Department officer whom responded to the hospital to assist deputies.
